The sculpture “Man longing for the future” by Sergei Barannik reminds the figure of a man with two wings. Where one wing is earthly matter, the other, not tied to the ground symbolizes harmony and spirituality.
The geometric elements of the composition - the sphere and circles, the author identifies with joy and happiness. Thus, a large-scale and structurally heavy sculptural composition carries inspiration to people.
Sergey Barannik sees the future man as a strong and broadbrow person being in harmony with himself.
