Working on a project in Bila Tserkva, a city with a thousand-year history, we wanted to show how the cultural heritage can advantageously coexist with the contemporary world, making the city even more interesting for its residents and attractive for tourists.
Therefore, sculptures created during the I International Sculpture Symposium “Interaction” were installed on the recently reconstructed Alexandria Boulevard, which leads to the historical landmark - Alexandria Arboretum.
In 2021, following the results of the II International Sculpture Symposium "Synergy" the collection of the Contemporary Sculpture Boulevard was replenished. Today it has 10 metal sculptures created by artists from 6 countries, such as Ukraine, Spain, Luxembourg, Turkey, Serbia and the Netherlands.
The sculptures are made of black and stainless steel using various processing and material welding technologies.
Each sculpture contains an important idea on which the artist suggests to reflect.
The viewer can hear the idea, familiarize themselves with the description of the artwork, as well as to get more complete information about the sculptor and the process of creating the sculpture by clicking on the QR code located on the pedestal.
The first stage of the project in 2019 was implemented with the support of philanthropists: Vladimir Polochaninov, President of “Ruh Molodі” Charity Foundation and Yuriy Nesterchuk, owner of “Transcity” logistic company, as well as Bila Tserkva City Council, local public organizations and businesses.
The company "Thermo-Pack" has provided production facilities for high-tech metal processing.
